Make your way up to the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. It's a good hour's drive, 21.3 miles north of our Kilmarnock Hotel, but it's totally worth it. The Semple Trail is a 2-3 hour walk, which takes you by ruins and lochs. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather. On the way back, stop off at Struther Farm House for a traditional Scottish meal.
