A wedding to remember to Catthorpe Manor

The tiny village of Catthorpe in Leicestershire in the East Midlands is less than a mile from the stunning Edwardian Catthorpe Manor. Refurbished in 2016 and set in 26 acres of mature woodland gardens, it's the ideal romantic wedding venue, but it's also an impressive conference location, with space for up to 250 delegates. Visitors can also enjoy the Linden Restaurant, as well as regular comedy nights, live music and spooky murder mystery themed dinners.

Discover the East Midlands from Catthorpe Manor

The picturesque Catthrope Manor is a perfect base for exploring the East Midlands. A 30-minute drive east brings you to Coventry, home to the ruins of St Michael's, a 14th century gothic cathedral. Its remains serve as a poignant reminder of WWII following the church's destruction by the Luftwaffe. The city's Ricoh Arena also plays host to headline music and sports events. 34 minutes' drive north of Catthorpe, the city of Leicester is home to Highcross which houses more than 120 shops and restaurants.

Keep it cool in Birmingham

Catthorpe Manor is just 40 minutes by car from the UK's second largest city. It's no wonder young professionals are leaving London for Birmingham. Cool venues like the Custard Factory in the city's hip Digbeth district, as well as the crop of stylish creative businesses and independent retailers in the revamped Jewellery Quarter mean Birmingham is fast becoming a haven for England's hip young crowd.
