Things to do in Ryton on Dunsmore

Visit Ryton Organic Gardens, the UK's leading organic growing charity. Its inspirational 10-acre demonstration garden teaches visitors about all aspects of organic growing; after a gentle walk around the beautiful garden, have lunch in the award winning cafe, or visit the shop with its great selection of plants and gardening essentials, organic food and wine.

Green spaces in Warwickshire

Explore stunning countryside on foot or on two wheels along surfaced paths at Ryton Pools Country Park. The little ones will love feeding the ducks at Ryton Pool, while older ones will enjoy playing games in the meadow and building dens in the Children's Wood.

Days out with the kids

A mile down the road from the village is the Brandon Marsh Nature Centre. Follow the Onyx nature trail to see all of the different wildlife habitats in the nature reserve, explore the mouse maze, play in the sensory garden, then enjoy a picnic or a bite to eat in the tearooms. The kids will love Lunt Roman Fort, a partially-reconstructed timber fort with lots of space to run around, a great picnic area, and an excellent visitors' centre offering lots of different activities. For something a bit different, visit the Midland Air Museum, with its large and varied collection of aircraft.
