Take a hike into the Lincolnshire Wolds
The lovely Lincolnshire Wolds offer some of Britain's most unspoilt countryside and are perfect for a breath of fresh air. Head to the pretty village of Tealby where you can walk along the Viking Way. Have a nosey around Market Rasen itself, or travel to the coast where Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea both have lovely quiet beaches and can be reached in under an hour by car.
Take a trip to historic Lincoln
Lincoln is around half an hour's drive and has lots to see and do. The famous cathedral is an awe-inspiring sight and you can find out more about Lincoln's interesting history at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. The cultural quarter has lots of bars, cafes, shops and theatre to enjoy, or head down to Brayford Waterfront, England's oldest inland harbour, where you'll find plenty of places to eat and drink.
