The London district with Cattitude

On entering Catford centre in south east London, you're treated to the sight of a giant fibreglass cat playing on the Catford Centre sign. Indeed, there's a unique sense of fun and community around Catford. In addition, there's also some pleasant green spaces, such as Ladywell Fields and Mountsfield Park, and even a community-run orchard.

A bite to eat in Catford

The area has a vibrant dining scene with the Italian La Pizzeria Italiana and the Japanese Sapporo Ichiban particular highlights, while there is also a nice line in Turkish establishments. For a post-meal tipple, the Catford Constitutional Club is hard to beat, and good value to boot.

Explore the wider capital

Catford's two rail stations, both in Zone 3, make getting out and about around the city a doddle. Planning a trip to Catford? Travelodge London Greenwich hotel, just two miles north, is convenient and cheap. However, if you're travelling up from the south, Travelodge London Crystal Palace hotel and Travelodge London Bromley hotel are both excellent options.
