Enjoy the Olympic legacy in Edmonton
Stay in the north London suburb of Edmonton and you're within easy reach of the city centre and yet also have access to some fabulous green spaces with the Olympic legacy at Lee Valley Regional Park only around 20 minutes away. Lee Valley has been going for 50 years but has further benefited since London 2012 with exciting venues such as the Lee Valley White Water Centre where visitors can have a go at white water rafting on the Olympic course. Take a train ride to the capital
From Edmonton Green station catch the overland train to London's Liverpool Street. Walking from here gives easy access to the Barbican Centre where you can catch all the latest films, theatre and concerts, plus the renowned markets of Spitalfields and Smithfield - the latter being the UK's largest wholesale meat market with an 800 year history. Or you can take the London Underground from Liverpool Street to reach every corner of the capital.
