Home of The Spurs

This north London district is best known for White Hart Lane football ground, the home of Tottenham Hotspur which closed in 2017 to make way for a brand new stadium. But sports fans don't need to despair, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford is just 30 minutes away on the London Overground. Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters tube stations are also on the Victoria line, so you can easily pop into central London for sightseeing or dinner.

Get back to nature in Lee Valley

The 10-acre WaterWorks Centre nature reserve is a brilliant family day out. Just a few miles from central London, the area is a haven for wildlife like ducks, butterflies, frogs and dragonfly, as well as hundreds of plant species. Take some binoculars and you might spot a Grey Wagtail or Kingfisher, two of the 60 bird species on the reserve.

Something for everyone at Alexandra Palace

There's plenty of things to do on a day out, including an ice rink, skate park, mini golf, boating lake, bar, restaurant and Big Tree Climbing. Looking for accommodation in Tottenham?
