Health in good hands at King's College Hospital

As a rule, no one really wants to visit a hospital - but at least King's College Hospital is respected, well staffed and, as a teaching hospital, is often at the forefront of new innovations in medicine. Its Accident and Emergency Department was even the subject of a Channel 4 series, 24 Hours in A&E.

Explore the area

Depending on your reasons for visiting, you may wish to take a tour around the surrounding area. Located in Brixton, South London, there's plenty to find within walking distance of the hospital, including the street market and a large shopping area. Brixton station, on the Victoria Line, puts the rest of London within easy reach.

Capitalise on London's sights

If you have kids to keep entertained before or after your trip to KCH, there are few better places than London. With London Zoo, Madame Tussauds, the London Eye and the British Museum all a tube ride away, they'll be spoiled for choice. There's also copious parks and play areas throughout the city, as well as cafes and family friendly restaurants for quieter moments. Looking for a cheap hotel Near King's College Hospital? Travelodge London Vauxhall Hotel is a good bet, while Travelodge London Greenwich Hotel and Travelodge London Central Waterloo Hotel are also convenient, both for the hospital and Central London.
