Score a wicket at The Oval

The Oval is a well-known international cricket ground, situated in Kennington, Lambeth, South London. Since it was opened in 1845, it's been the home ground of Surrey County Cricket Club, and became the first ground in England to host an international test cricket match in 1880. Today, this significant ground regularly hosts exciting friendly and league fixtures throughout the year.

Come and see Kennington

Half a mile south of the Thames, Kennington is a primarily residential area, but is scattered with a number of interesting restaurants, bars and shops. Just within reach of Westminster's division bell, it's also home to a number of prominent MPs from London-area constituencies. Visitors can have a lovely time popping into quaint, rustic pubs, visiting historical attractions like Lambeth palace, and arts venues such as the White Bear Theatre Club.

Honour the fallen at The Imperial War Museum

One of London's most famous historical attractions, the Imperial War Museum offers an amazing and often harrowing look at the history of British and international warfare. The central hall houses a staggering collection of artillery, aircraft and tanks, including a Snatch Land Rover which saw action in Iraq, and an Argentine operating table used in the Falklands. Whether you know a little or a lot about the history of warfare, a visit to this museum is both fascinating and humbling.
