Notable productions and famous faces at the Shaftesbury Theatre

The Shaftesbury Theatre is an iconic performance venue in London's West End and puts on some of the UK's top shows.

Having opened over a century ago, in 1911, the theatre has staged many notable productions including Hairspray, Flashdance and Motown the Musical. The venue offers lots of variety in its performances, and there have been many a famous face appear on stage, from Eartha Kitt to Baddiel and Skinner, and even Roy Chubby Brown.
