Getting out and about in South East London

Sprawling across Bromley, Southwark & Lewisham, Sydenham is a leafy South East London district with many conservation areas and municipal parks to choose from. Sydenham has an efficient train service with regular trains to London Bridge station, getting you into Central London within 30. The Transport For London bus service is also a prominent, useful travel method of getting about in Sydenham.

Visit and explore the Horniman

Catch a train from Sydenham train station to Forest Hill and you can enjoy the Horniman Museum and Gardens. Take in the animal walk and aquarium as well as exploring numerous fascinating exhibits. The museum has a nature and natural history theme and has a nice cafe & gift shop. Free to Art Fund members.
