In the heart of the action at the University of Westminster

Based in the buzzing centre of London, the University of Westminster is close to more attractions than you can shake a stick at. Be sure to combine your visit with a sightseeing trip. Perhaps you fancy rubbing shoulders with Egyptian mummies at the British Museum or getting up close to the crown jewels at the Tower of London?

The university itself has a distinguished 175-year history, and was the UK's first polytechnic. Notable alumni include fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Alexander Fleming, who discovered penicillin.

Shop on Regent Street

The university's main base is on Regent Street in the heart of London's West End. This famous thoroughfare is home to several flagship stores, including Liberty, Hamleys and Apple.

It's just off Oxford Street, which itself has more than 300 stores to peruse. Find the likes of Topshop, H&M, John Lewis, The Body Shop, Niketown and Selfridges here.
