Reading Festival - a must for music lovers

Reading Festival is the world's oldest pop music festival and takes place annually over the August bank holiday weekend. It's held jointly with Leeds Festival with the two major events sharing a bill. In Reading you'll find the action at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue. With eight stages including a BBC Music Introducing stage for as yet little-known talent plus a main stage and a lock-up for edgier acts, there really is something for everyone. Many of music's biggest names have played at Reading over the years, from the Rolling Stones to Nirvana - who played their last UK concert here.
