Go wild at Wireless Festival

One of the UK's leading summer festivals, Wireless takes place each July in London's Finsbury Park, in the north of the capital. Attended by over 100,000 people each year, Wireless Festival welcomes world-famous live music acts and DJs for three days of pop, hip-hop and grime. Finsbury Park itself is a popular destination thanks to its buzzing pubs, expansive green spaces and the Nearby Emirates Stadium, home to Premier League side Arsenal Football Club.

Hip Hackney

Finsbury Park borders the London Borough of Hackney, the capital's centre of cool. Head to Stoke Newington and Dalston to explore buzzing bars, record shops and some of east London's famed nightlife at venues like Shacklewell Arms, The Nest and Birthdays. Abney Park is one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries and bursts with history. For stylish designer shopping, head to Hackney Central's Chatham Place, where you can find Pringle, Burberry and a clutch of other high-end boutiques.

Explore Angel

Hop on the tube from Finsbury Park and you can be exploring Angel in just 10 minutes. The area is known for its wide selection of restaurants, and American, Vietnamese, Thai and Italian are all on offer along Upper Street, Angel's main hub. The King's Head is a buzzing pub with a theatre space in the back, while Camden Passage is a lovely backstreet that's home to stylish boutiques and cafes.
