The car's the star in Halewood
Lying eight miles south-east of Liverpool, this industrial town is the home of car manufacturing. Halewood is dominated by the Jaguar Land Rover Factory, which produces the best-selling Range Rover Evoque and is the town's largest employer.
If you want some quiet time while you're here, pop to Halewood Park, which proudly holds a Green Flag award. It's made up of mature woodland, with ponds, wildflower meadows and a green gym.

After the safari drive you can step out of your car for the foot tour, where you can see elephants, giraffes and take a walk on the dark side through the Bat Forest.
