Glorious sands at elegant Filey

Filey is a small town on the North Yorkshire coast boasting miles of spectacular sands. Just south of bustling Scarborough, this is the perfect place to relax in quieter surroundings while still enjoying all the seaside has to offer. Build sandcastles down at the beach or if you prefer something more active, seek out Bay Watersports to have a go at coasteering, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding. The award-winning Filey Museum provides a fascinating glimpse into the area's past - it's closed in winter though. The area's natural wonders include Filey Brigg and Bempton Cliffs, both spectacular sights. Plus, animal lovers in the party will enjoy a trip to the Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park.
