Visit Cobham, Britain's Beverly Hills

Known as 'Britain's Beverly Hills', the bustling Surrey village of Cobham, on the banks of the River Mole, has had its fair share of celebrity visits over the years. The area is well known for being home to the likes of Frank Lampard and Gary Lineker. And it's no wonder they all love Cobham. The high street is lined with boutiques and quirky gift shops, and there's plenty of affordable places to eat, too, including the charming Medicine Garden cafe and local favourite La Capanna.

A day out at Painshill Park

This stunning 18th century landscape garden boasts 158 acres of beautifully ornamental parkland. As well as a serpentine lake and panoramic views over Surrey, the park is home to a number of secret gems. Hidden in the trees, the four-storey Gothic Tower is a breathtaking example of 18th-century architecture, while the dramatic Ruined Abbey is also worth a visit.

Race away to the Brooklands Museum

Built on the site of the first motor racing circuit in the world, this popular motoring museum takes you back to Brooklands' heyday as a racing haven. Discover a collection of cars and motorbikes raced at Brooklands until it closed in 1939. There's also a fantastic range of aircrafts on display, including the Wellington Bomber, used by fighter pilots in World War Two. Planning a trip to Cobham?
