Discover one of England's finest castles and parks

The sleepy commuter town of Virginia Water sits in the borough of Runnymede in Surrey, just to the south-west of London. Nearby is Windsor Great Park, over 5,000 acres of sweeping royal parkland open to the public. Dating to the mid 13th century and once the private hunting grounds of Windsor Castle, the park is still home to majestic deer, and offering grand views of the castle on the approach named Long Walk.

Tour historic royal Windsor

Virgina Water is ideally situated for exploring one of England's most visited attractions, as historic Windsor is less than 20 minutes drive away. Head for Windsor Castle, the royal residence built in the 11th century. Climb to 200 steps to the fantastic Royal Round, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views over the Thames Valley and the London skyline.

Visit the home of Concorde at Brooklands Museum

Down the road in Weybridge you'll find the birthplace of British motorsports and the home of Concorde - Brooklands Museum. Built on the site of the first purpose-built motor racing circuit, the museum houses a great collection of cars, bikes and motorcycles as well as the only Concorde with public access in south-east England.
