Newman University - a quiet place to learn outside Birmingham

Named after Cardinal Newman, this small university in the UK's second city offers degrees in a diverse array of subjects including criminology, sports science and teacher training. The university is situated on a campus in the secluded suburb of Bartley Green on the outskirts of south-west Birmingham, about 8 miles from the city centre.
