A historic building with a modern edge

Frequently used to stage concerts as well as meetings, weddings, receptions and other functions, Huddersfield's impressive Town Hall is a focal point for the community. Dating back to 1875, but with recently refurbished rooms boasting all mod cons, it's a versatile and attractive venue.

Take a trip around Huddersfield

Huddersfield itself has much to offer, and since the 2017 upturn in fortunes for its football team, it feels like a town on the up. Elsewhere in this picturesque West Yorkshire market town, the Kirklees Light Railway, the Canal and its Standedge Runnels, and Greenhead Park are all attractive destinations - while the town centre has a wealth of pleasant cafes and bars.

Out and about around West Yorkshire

The countryside surrounding Huddersfield is popular among tourists, comprising part of "Bronte Country" - and indeed it's easy to see how this rugged terrain inspired the sisters' novels. Terrific for walking, sightseeing and also nature watching.
