A little village that punches above its weight

The comparatively small village of Wyboston in Bedfordshire is home to a surprisingly large amount of facilities, including Wyboston Lakes Knowledge and Leisure Centre, which includes a golf course and conference facilities, as well as other conference centres, local pubs and more. This is mostly due to its proximity to the A1, which has helped it attract plenty of through-traffic.

Take a look around St Neots

A picturesque Cambridgeshire market town with a wealth of history, St Neots is immediately adjacent to Wyboston. It boasts a vibrant high street, award-winning community theatre and even its own museum. Paxton Pits Nature Reserve and Priory Park are also close by.

Explore historic Cambridge

The city of Cambridge is easily reachable from Wyboston by car (about a 30-minute drive) or bus (45mins). There's plenty to do in the city, from the Imperial War Museum Duxford, which houses more than 200 tanks, planes and boats, to the Fitzwilliam Museum which has a huge array of classical artefacts. Or you could just take a sedate cruise down the River Cam
