Welsh sporting action aplenty at Parc y Scarlets

Situated in Pemberton, Llanelli in Wales, Parc y Scarlets is a multi-purpose venue built in 2008 to be the new home for rugby union teams Scarlets and Llanelli RFC, to replace Stradey Park, which had been their venue for 130 years. It had big shoes to fill, but state-of-the-art Parc y Scarlets is now firmly established. In addition, the stadium also hosts Llanelli Town Association Football Club's matches in European competitions, and provides facilities for conferences, exhibitions and dinners.

Under a mile away from Parc y Scarlets, WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre is 450 acres of spectacular lakes, pools and lagoons, jampacked with animals including flamingos, egrets, water voles and kingfishers. Ideal for serious birdwatchers or anybody looking to relax in the surroundings of beautiful nature at its best.

Another great way to be at one with nature is to travel seven and a half miles out to Swansea and visit Three Cliffs Bay. This popular but serene beach is full of lush sand and fantastic views of Nearby cliffs and a meandering stream Perfect for picnics, dog-walking, reading a book or purely lazing around and clearing your head.
