Welcome to Liskeard

Liskeard is a market town nestled on the southern rim of Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. Though it dates back to the 13th century, the town only really started to flourish and take shape during Cornwall's copper mining boom in the Victorian era. Many fine, historical buildings can be found throughout the town, standing as a testament to this period of great prosperity. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as Stuart House, the Liskeard Museum and Adrenalin Quarry.

Ramble through Bodmin Moor

One of Cornwall's most well-known Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bodmin Moor is the home to Cornwall's two highest peaks: Rough Tor and Brown Willy. The area was densely populated during the Bronze Age, and visitors can see a number of amazing archaeological remains from this forgotten time, including over 50 Neolithic hut foundations on Leskernick Hill. Whether it's the history or pure, natural beauty that draws you here, your first visit to Bodmin Moor is something you'll always remember.

Relax at Siblyback Lake

Siblyback Lake is a large, tranquil lake set in Bodmin Moor, where visitors can find a wide range of things to do, both on and off the water. Its Outdoor and Active Centre accommodates for a wide range of watersports, including windsurfing, canoeing, and sailing. Those who want to explore the great outdoors of Cornwall can camp by the water's edge, and certain areas of the shoreline have been designated for rainbow trout fishing.
