Historic Heston

The west London suburb of Heston is just over 10 miles from central London and has been a settlement since Saxon times. Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain flew from its aerodrome to meet Adolf Hitler in Germany before making his ‘peace in our time’ speech in 1938. It’s close to such areas as Hounslow, Twickenham and Richmond.
