Take a trip Kilburn's amazing theatres

Kilburn, located in north London Near Hampstead and Maida Vale, is a theatre fan's dream. From the world-class productions at the Tricycle to more low key plays, comedy and other events hosted in the area's many pubs, you'll find something different to see every night. The Tricycle also has a great cinema and art gallery so culture vultures will always have something to enjoy.

Enjoy a pint in an historic pub

Today, Kilburn has a high mix of Irish and Australian locals, which means its many traditional pubs are full of life with great service. The North London Tavern lives up to its grand name as a hub for a variety of activities, and is also a great place to socialise. For something smarter, Alice House is one of the area's best gastro pubs. Or visit the Black Lion, which was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London and still feels like stepping back in time.

Museums and music

Kilburn is just a short walk from the world-famous Abbey Road Studio, where The Beatles recorded many of their best work. You can even visit the zebra crossing from the album cover of the same name. Or visit the Ben Uri Museum, which remembers the area's Jewish history and showcases work by artists with Jewish heritage. Looking for accommodation in Kilburn? The Travelodge London Central Marylebone Hotel is just a few stops on the Bakerloo line to Kilburn Park.
