Kick off at St Mary's Stadium

The home of Premier League team Southampton FC since 2001, St Mary's Stadium is the largest football ground in southern England outside London. Outside is a statue of the club's former player, manager, director and president, Ted Bates, which greets those attending home games with a friendly wave. Soaking up the atmosphere on match days in this purpose-built modern arena is a delight; it's also available for corporate events and has several hospitality suites.

Central Hall - events and more

Close to St Mary's Stadium is an alternative conference and events centre - Central Hall. Built in 1925, its two major spaces and meeting rooms can be hired for a variety of functions; it also hosts concerts by a wide variety of artists from across all genres.

Dip your toe in at Southampton Water Activities Centre

Purpose-built in 1987, the Southampton Water Activities Centre on the River Itchen in the city's historic waterfront area offers a range of sailing and power-boating activities and courses for people of all abilities, experience and ages.
