Something old in the New Forest...

This quaint, historic village lies on the edge of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, and is an ideal tourist destination with much to offer its visitors. The village itself is picturesque and retains a timeless, old-fashioned feel, while the surrounding countryside proves popular with birdwatchers, hikers, photographers and cyclists.

Get your motor running

Beaulieu is home to the British National Motor Museum, which houses hundreds of vehicles, some dating back as far as the late 19th century. Among the highlights are a selection of James Bond cars, as well as an exhibition dedicated to Top Gear - including vehicles created by James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson on the show.

Immerse yourself in grand surroundings

Beaulieu Palace House is a stunning 13th century stately home set in gorgeous grounds. Much of it is open to the public, but be warned - it is reportedly one of the most haunted places in Britain. Planning a trip to Beaulieu? Travelodge Southampton Central Hotel and Travelodge Stoney Cross Lyndhurst Hotel, located approximately 10 miles to the north east and north west respectively, provide convenient and cheap accommodation for visitors to the area.
