For a day trip, why not take your kids to Blackpool Zoo? You don’t have to travel far to see animals from all over the world, as the zoo is only 2.3 miles from our Blackpool South Shore Hotel. Stop off in South America as you wander through ‘Amazonia’. See who can spot the most monkeys, or take the train for a journey through the African bush. More into history? Head to Rufford Old Hall. The house has a traditional black and white façade, and inside it’s set out just how it was 500 years ago. The gardens are superb so have a long walk around.
