Higher education with a difference at the University of London

Established in 1836, the University of London is thought to be the third oldest university in England and offers its higher education services in a different way to many others. The university actually consists of 18 member institutions which are based across the capital and are regarded as universities in their own right. These include famous names such as Kings College London, Birkbeck and University College London.
