Welcome to Middleham

Nestled between the rivers Cover and Ure, Middleham is a tiny market town with a population of 825 as of the 2011 census. The area has been settled since the Roman occupation of Britain, and is home to Middleham Castle, the largest keep in the north of England, and the childhood home to Richard III. Today, it serves as a centre of Horseracing, and is the home of the Middleham Trainers' Association.

Coming to Darlington?

Darlington is a popular town for shopping, situated a short way north of Middleham, known for its pedestrianised town centre with a range of independent and chain shops to browse. The town is also characterised by its prominent rail heritage, which is encapsulated by the Darlington Railway Centre and Museum, a popular local attraction that regularly hosts fun family events.

Be enchanted by Constable Burton Hall and Gardens

A beautiful Palladian villa standing at the edge of Wensleydale, Constable Burton Hall is a wonderful place to take a long, tranquil, walk and soak in the extensive history of the area.
