Didcot - a most 'normal' English town

From ardent trainspotters to Thomas the Tank Engine fans, the railway town of Didcot has much to offer people of all ages. Didcot Railway Centre is home to Great Western Railway Society's unique collection of steam engines, as a former engine-shed and locomotive stabling point, and it also hosts events, steamdays and galas. The Oxfordshire town has been crowned the 'most normal' in Britain for 2017 -far from a ciritcism though, the award is given to towns depicting typical English life in the most accurate fashion.
