Shopping in Trentham

With its 60 timber lodges housing a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants, including independent retailers and well-known brands, Trentham Shopping Village has enough to keep even the most enthusiastic shopper busy.

Days out with the kids

Trentham Monkey Forest is the only place in the UK that you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques roaming freely across 60 acres of beautiful English forest. Fancy something indoors? Try your hand at a bit of pottery; there's something for everyone at World of Wedgewood - an interactive factory tour, creative studios, flagship retail store, stylish tea rooms, woodland walks and children's play areas. Or pop along to the Gladstone Pottery Museum, the only complete Victorian pottery factory. Observe traditional skills and enjoy original workshops, have a go at throwing a pot or try your hand at decorating pottery.

Get active and enjoy the great outdoors

Burn off some steam at the Trentham Community Sports Centre, with its large swimming pool, grass pitches, outdoor tennis courts and indoor sports hall, offering a wide range of different activities. Explore the Nearby Longton Park; famous for its trees, horticulture and lakes, it's a great place for all the family with plenty of space for outdoor games and picnics, plus skateboard facilities and a play area. The more adventurous will love Awesome Walls, England's largest dedicated bouldering centre, with climbing services spread over two extensive floors.
