Days out with the kids

Trentham Monkey Forest is the only place in the UK that you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques roaming freely across 60 acres of beautiful English forest. Fancy something indoors? Try your hand at a bit of pottery; there’s something for everyone at World of Wedgewood - an interactive factory tour, creative studios, flagship retail store, stylish tea rooms, woodland walks and children’s play areas. Or pop along to the Gladstone Pottery Museum, the only complete Victorian pottery factory. Observe traditional skills and enjoy original workshops, have a go at throwing a pot or try your hand at decorating pottery.

Get active and enjoy the great outdoors

Burn off some steam at the Trentham Community Sports Centre, with its large swimming pool, grass pitches, outdoor tennis courts and indoor sports hall, offering a wide range of different activities.
