A day at the races - Epsom Downs Racecourse

With a history of racing stretching back to the 1600s, it's little wonder 'Epsom Downs' has become such a prestigious name in British equestrian. This Grade I racecourse in Surrey plays host to the famous Epsom Derby every year in June, and regularly fills its 130,000 capacity for various other events. Whether you're a racing nut, or just a newcomer looking for some fun, a day out at Epsom is something everyone can enjoy.

Conferences at Epsom

Just half an hour outside of central London, in the stunning North Downs of Surrey, Grade 1 Epsom Downs Racecourse is equipped with excellent conference, event and exhibition facilities, overlooking beautiful natural scenery to one side, and the iconic London skyline to the other. It's best known for hosting the Epsom Derby, a household event usually attended by Her Majesty the Queen.

More than just a racecourse

Though the racecourse is the main attraction, Epsom has a range of other things to see and do. Take the kids for a day at Hobbledown Adventure Park, have a relaxing stroll around Nonsuch Park, dig into a delectable meal at one of the town's many restaurants, or have a drink at one of its rustic pubs.
