Rev it up at Coventry Transport Museum

Discover the inspiration behind some of the world's greatest vehicles at this fascinating museum in the city centre. Look back over 150 years of road transport, with more than 250 cars and commercial vehicles, 300 bicycles and 120 motorcycles on display. Stars of the show include a Daimler Wagonette and Sky Blues bus, which drove round the streets following Coventry City's historic win over Tottenham in the 1987 FA Cup Final.

Take a selfie with Lady Godiva

Lady Godiva famously rode naked through the streets of Coventry on horseback. Her statue in the central square has been a symbol of the city since it was built in 1949. Strike a pose with the much-loved attraction in Broadgate. The square also has some inviting pubs and restaurants if you want to stop off for refreshments in between sightseeing.

Unwind in Coombe Abbey Country Park

If you want to escape the city for a while, this lovely woodland and garden area offers relaxing lakeside walks, birdwatching and a play area for your little ones. Have a kickabout on the grass, spread out with a picnic or feed the ducks. Planning a trip to Coventry Transport Museum?
