From cars to tech in Longbridge

For Nearly a century, this industrial area of south-west Birmingham was associated with the car-making industry, being the home of the Austin Rover factory.

More than a decade after the site closed in 2005, regeneration is bringing new homes and businesses to the area, including the �100 million Longbridge Technology Park. It's home to more than 60 local and global firms, and is playing an important role in making Longbridge the Midlands' leading technology and innovation hub.
