Welcome to Rowley Regis

Nestled between Birmingham and Wolverhampton, Rowley Riggs is a historic parish in the Black Country area of the West Midlands. For much of its history, it was part of the Royal Hunting Grounds, used exclusively by the king and certain members of the English monarchy. Most of its development occurred between the World Wars, when thousands of new houses were built in the area.

Red House Glass Cone - a staple of Birmingham's history

The Red House Glass Cone is one of the Midland's most distinctive landmarks. Built in the late 1700s, the building was used for manufacturing glass until the early 20th century, and is now a well-known heritage site. Visitors can enjoy a free self-guided tour around the site, and there are afternoon glassblowing demonstrations in the cone's working studio every weekend.
