England's green and pleasant lands

Spanning just a few square miles but encompassing parts of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, the Malvern Hills range is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which features some of southern England's finest and most verdant scenery.

Tour historic Worcester

To the north-east of the hills is Worcester, a historic and delightful cathedral city with much to offer. The cathedral itself is a must, while Hanbury Hall and Snowshill Manor are both recommended historic residences. The city itself has some lovely restaurants, too.

Take a trip around Hereford

West of the hills lies Hereford, which boasts its own cathedral - a Gothic-edificed structure which houses the Mappa Mundi, the famous 13th-century map of the world. For those less interested in history, Hereford's Cider Museum might be worth exploring - it's housed in the original home of Bulmer's Cider at Pomona Place.
