Travelodge Business – How to manage people

This is a step-by-step guide to Managing People within Travelodge Business, including saving Guest details for quick and easy repeat bookings on their behalf, and adding users and roles should you wish to have multiple users of Travelodge Business within your company.

The table below explains what each Travelodge Business role type can access and action:

Membership managerPerson(s) responsible for the Travelodge Business membership, full administrational rights and access to all functionality.- Make bookings for self and others
- View, amend and cancel ALL bookings (own and others)

- Access to Travelodge Business Accoutn card online management (Only applicable for customers with a Travelodge Business Account card)
Booker AdminThis role can make, view, amend all bookings (theirs and others) and has access to all reporting.- Make bookings for self and others
- View, amend and cancel ALL bookings (own and others)
- View and download ALL management information reports
- Add and delete user profiles (their own and those below their own) eg: Booker, and add/delete guests
BookerThis role can make bookings for themselves and others, can only view and amend their own bookings.- Make bookings for self and others
- View, amend and cancel own bookings only
- View and download reports for own bookings only
- Add and delete users own user profile and add/delete guests
Finance AdminThis is a brand new role which has access to all reporting and online Business Account Card management (when a member is also a Business Account Card holder).- View and download ALL management information reports
- Acces to Travelodge Business Account card online management (Only applicable for customers with a Travelodge Business Account card)

Adding new users (single user)

Step 1.

Log into Travelodge Business via the website

Logging in to Travelodge.co.uk

Step 2.

Click on your business name and select ‘Manage people’

Step 3.

You’ll then be able to see a list of all users. Select ‘Add single user’

Step 4.

Fill in the users details and select a role for them (see table above). Select ‘send invite’. This will send an activation email to the user you’ve added so they can set their own password and are able to login to your company’s Travelodge Business.

Step 5.

Select the ‘Guest’ role type if you want to save Guest details for quick and easy bookings on their behalf. You can also save Guest details during the booking process once you’ve entered their details as the guest you’re booking on behalf of. 

Adding multiple new users

Log into Travelodge Business, then select ‘Manage people’ from the dropdown menu (as seen in steps 1 and 2 above), then follow the steps below to add multiple users to your account.

Step 1

SelectAdd multiple users’.

Step 2.

Follow the instructions to download a template to add user details.

Step 3.

Fill in template – save, and upload.

Updating details for existing users

In order to update existing user details, you’ll first need to log into your Travelodge Business and select ‘Manage people’ to get to the users screen, you can then follow the steps below.

Step 1.

To update details or change the role of an existing user, select ‘edit’.

Step 2.

You’ll then be able to update any of the user details or assign the user a different role.
