Pretty as a picture
The pretty riverside parish of Bray can be found along the banks of the River Thames, between Maidenhead and Windsor. Here you can observe birds and other wildlife, as well as taking part in activities such as pond dipping, nature walks and bug hunting. Bring a picnic and a few books to while away the day.
Escape to the country
Get outside and stretch your legs in the enchanting woodland of Burnham Beeches. Here you'll find walking trails, a playground and a cafe to refuel. There's a lake with ducks who'll happily say hello for a bit of bread or lettuce, as well as some cows - who strangely enough actually live in the forest. Looking for a place to stay in Bray?
