Visit North Manchester's cultural Mecca

Situated between Bury and Manchester, and close to the River Irwell, Prestwich has been and is home to some of the North's most notable cultural icons, including Victoria Wood, Mark E Smith, Arlene Phillips and Guy Garvey. The town is only ten minutes from Manchester, but as of late it's really come into its own and many new bars, restaurants and cafes are adding an affluent flair to its streets.

A taste of the outdoors at Heaton Park

Heaton Park is only a five-minute drive away, and with 640 acres to explore, you'll easily fill up a day. Kids will love the play area, animal centre and boating lake. For those wanting a quieter day, there's a garden centre, golf, fishing and organised walks.
