If you're into countryside, there's little more beautiful than the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. Stay in one of our hotels in Gloucestershire for a weekend getaway and you'll be torn. The green's great but the town's are quaint and have an irresistible rustic charm. And if this getaway is away from home but not away from the kids, there's plenty for them too.

Book hotels in Gloucestershire

Book a hotel in Gloucestershire and spend the day in Cheltenham. There's plenty to do, from museums to restaurants, not to mention it's on the doorstep of The Cotswolds. Our choice is a walk down the promenade to see the Trevi-inspired Neptune Fountain. Our Cheltenham Hotel is 3.2 miles away. Peter Rabbit fans, remember the story of The Tailor of Gloucester? The inspiration behind the story came when Beatrix Potter was visiting her cousin here. Visit the Beatrix Potter museum and original tailor of Gloucester, which is less than a miles walk from our Gloucester Hotel. Before you head back, detour and visit the nearby Gloucester cathedral. It's ornate, beautiful and obvious why they chose to film Harry Potter in the cloisters here.
