Historic Market Deeping

A lovely market town 20 minutes north of Peterborough and 8 miles from Stamford, Market Deeping is part of an historic collective of communities referred to as �The Deepings�. The name originates from the Saxon word meaning deep fen or low place. There is no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area with many attractions a quick car journey away.

The sculpture gardens are perfect for a picnic on a sunny day. Situated less than 2 miles outside Stanford, combining a trip into this wonderful historic town would be a great day out.
