Dine in style at Murano Restaurant

Going out for some posh nosh? It's not every day you can say you've eaten at a top-class Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of London's Mayfair. It's not a stuffy place though, with an emphasis on fun and informality rather than fine dining. Diners here are in the capable hands of head chef Angela Hartnett, who you may recognise from TV. Her Italian-influenced menu includes such sumptuous fare as guinea fowl with caramelised rosemary cream, and sea bream with cockles and Romano peppers.

Stroll round Green Park

If you need to walk off the excesses of overindulging on gorgeous food and wine, fortunately Green Park is close by. It stays open until midnight, and is a lovely tranquil place to stretch your legs away from the hustle and bustle of the city, any time of day. There are loads of picturesque spots and memorials for quiet contemplation too.

Don't miss Westminster's other attractions

In this part of the city, you'll find some of London's most famous sights. Watch the Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace, take a tour of Westminster Abbey, where William and Kate married in 2011, and enjoy spectacular views of the city from the London Eye. Looking for a cheap hotel Near Murano Restaurant? Travelodge London Central Covent Garden Hotel is a good option, and handy for a host of attractions. Travelodge London Central Marylebone Hotel is also close by.
