Folk heroes and hi-octane action

Explore Robin Hood country

In Nottinghamshire, go on the trail of the legendary outlaw. Strike a pose next to the Robin Hood statue outside Nottingham Castle, the former residence of his sworn enemy the Sheriff of Nottingham. At the Galleries of Justice, see the cave where Robin was locked up. Afterwards, head to the enchanting woodland that is Sherwood Forest to see the Merry Men's famous hideaway, the Major Oak.

Family fun at Space, Conkers and Burghley

Budding astronauts will love the National Space Centre in Leicester as they can board a rocket tower and take a bath with Saturn. Conkers, found within the National Forest Near Swadlincote, is a fantastic mix of indoor and outdoor fun, with activity trails, interactive exhibits and a new 4D cinema experience.
