Fun in Fakenham

The thoroughbred racecourse at Fakenham is located just south of the small market town of Fakenham in Norfolk. The winding River Wensum runs south of the town, and is perfect for a relaxing stroll or cute waterside picnic. Head north east to the Thursford, where you can find a unusual and fascinating museum housing antique cars, trains and curiosities. Nature lovers will enjoy the network of lakes and woodlands at Pensthorpe Natural Park, which is also home to an indoor play area for kids.

Head for the Royal Arcade, dating back to 1899, to visit the famous Colman's Mustard shop.
