Old-school seaside fun at Hunstanton

Around 17 miles north of Kings Lynn, Hunstanton in Norfolk sits on the coast of The Wash. The town made its name as a traditional seaside resort and is still home to classic attractions like crazy golf and its Esplanade Gardens. Its location also means it is one of only a handful of places on the east coast of England where visitors can see the sun set over the sea.

Get closer to nature

Hunstanton's location means it is a great place to visit if you love nature. As well as boasting a Sea Life Sanctuary which is home to a seal rescue centre and a range of incredible underwater creatures, the town is close to nature reserves at The Wash and Scolt Head Island. Both sites are home to incredible landscapes and a range of rare wildlife.

The majesty of Sandringham

Lovers of the Royal Family will also be in their absolute element in the region, with the estate of Sandringham only being a 20-minute drive from Hunstanton. The country retreat has been a private home of the Royals since 1862 and is set in 240 hectares of incredible gardens. Planning a trip to Hunstanton?
