Doncaster Train Station is a pit-stop linking the north with the south, with daily trains running through to Kings Cross from many of the bustling northern cities.

Doncaster is famous across the country for its horse racing, and the St Leger race is the oldest horse race in the world, dating back to 1766. It's a hugely popular event that even her majesty, the Queen, has attended.

Just steps from the station, the Mansion House opened in 1749 was used for entertainment and gatherings for the community. This is one of three mansions houses in the country and it's currently run as a charity with family-friendly events going on all year round.
