Explore Haverhill

The delightful Suffolk market town of Haverhill, just 40 minutes from the city of Cambridge, is compact enough to explore on foot. Start at Haverhill Arts Centre, housed in the Grade II listed town hall, which hosts live music theatre, comedy and dance as well as the latest film releases. Further north, Ickworth House contains a superb silver collection, and a beautiful park and gardens for nature lovers to explore. Art buffs should head to Anglesey Abbey for its impressive collection and statue-filled gardens.

Just 40 minute from Haverhill sits Cambridge, home to the world famous university. Take a delightful punting tour along the River Cam, which takes in the iconic Bridge of Sighs, King's College Chapel and the elegant Wren Library at Trinity College.
