Guests should be aware that due to road works on the A1 northbound there will be no road access to the hotel between 8pm – 6am on the nights of the 25 June and 29 June 2013. A diversion will be in place to the southbound services and the hotel then can be accessed via the footbridge.

Situated on northbound carriageway of A1(M) just after junction 64.From the southbound carriageway of A1(M), exit junction 64 and stay on slip road of the A195. At the roundabout, take the last exit and follow the road onto the A1 (M) Northbound carriageway. The Travelodge is at the services on the left.
To get to the Travelodge on the Southbound carriageway, go back onto the A1 (M) North and stay in the right hand lane signposted towards A194 Tyne Tunnel. Leave the A194 at the next exit, signposted Washington, and at the roundabout take the fourth exit, signposted A194 (M). This will take you back onto the A1 (M) and the Southbound Travelodge is located at the services on the left.
