Discover Newton Abbot

A short drive from Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbey is another picturesque town surrounded by the idyllic countryside vistas of South Devon. Regular outdoor markets are held in the town centre, surrounded by big high street names and independent retailers. Further to this, Newton Abbey has its own racecourse, the Trago Mills Shopping and Leisure Park, home to one of the largest garden centres in the south-west, and a Go Ape ziplining centre in the Nearby Haldon Forest.

Dartmoor National Park - the heart of Devon

Spanning a large area in the centre of Devon, Dartmoor National Park is an ancient, sprawling landscape full of stunning country views, impressive granite tors, wooded valleys, and wild, meandering rivers. The park is still full of largely untouched wildlife, and visitors will be able to see famous Dartmoor ponies in semi-wild herds scattered across the moorland.
